After searching for the next magical experience, my travels took me back to Scandinavia, a culture that I have become accustomed to over the years, angels emerge there when you need them the most - like with all the imports, there are stories attached.  My journey found me sleeping on a stranger’s sofa for 3 nights whilst I tried to source an alternator (strangely fitted one from a Volvo tractor in the end) and a blow out on the motorway in Ghent when I was so close brought other people to save me.
Anyway, back to the point! Toad limped home after the road trip of his life, he has been stripped and lovingly restored to bring you another unique stay. He's quite possibly the only one in the UK, there may not be another in the world, though that's still tbc.
Inside, you will find a restoration executed with love, care and passion.
A kitchen handbuilt by repurposing, resawing and replaning timber, a handmade shower from copper pipe and valves that is over a handmade shower hatch covering the shower tray, a handmade kitchen tap over a butlers basin set in a repurposed and hand finished kitchen worktop (formerly a workbench), a daybed with a welded steel mechanism to allow it to convert to a double bed, a rear bedroom with a hidden twist - a bath!! It's a new concept, fully designed and plumbed in with lots of thought and imagination. The continuous hot water is supplied via a handmade matrix  in a cavity created at the woodburning stove. Another bit of clever modification is converting a domestic fridge to run off a dedicated solar panel and controller with a 12v timer - all too complex to describe the wiring but it works!
Other solar power comes through an alternative charge controller and batteries providing 12v lighting and 240v via a 1000w inverter - phew! that's enough techy info. for the rest, you have to come and feel the magic.
